Cuero Community Hospital Entry

The Cuero Community Hospital has served the City of Cuero for over forty years, continuously growing and updating its facilities to accommodate ever-developing medical technology. As the hospital added departments such as the Belle Terry Elder Women's Center, also designed by RMA, the board recognized the need to update its main entry, expand its gift shop and provide a prayer chapel. RMA designed a new modern arched drop off that accentuates the entrance and complements the existing brick facade. The expanded Wishing Well Gift Shop is conveniently accessed right off the entry, inviting both patrons of the hospital and other community members into the store. Directly across from the shop is the Hamilton-Wallis Chapel, which conveys a sense of repose with its clean lines, warm wood accents and soft lighting, while its series of handcrafted stained glass windows celebrate healing and new life with scenes from the four seasons.
