Years In Business
The Firm was established in 1995 by architect
and Victoria native Rawley G. McCoy after many
years as partner in the firm of Young & McCoy
Architects. His decades of experience working
with a wide variety of clients, contractors,
consultants, and other architects gave him
invaluable knowledge in all aspects of the
building trade.
In his last years with the firm Rawley primarily
served as mentor to the staff and a pro bono
consultant to organizations throughout South
Texas. Rawley continued to demonstrate his
steadfast dedication to the local community
upon his election as Mayor of Victoria in 2019. Mr.
McCoy served as Mayor until his passing in March
of 2021.
In 2001 architect William Berger left his position
in Fort Worth to return to the Victoria region
and began working with Mr. McCoy. William’s
leadership as a mentor and expertise in
architecture and design led to rapid growth for
the firm and award recognition in the industry.
In 2011, Mr. Berger became a partner and served
as Vice-President until becoming the Principal/
Managing Partner in 2021. With Mr. Berger leading
an award-winning architecture and design team,
RMA continues Mr. McCoy’s legacy of service in
the community and excellence in architecture.
